Learning Ostomy

My son has had an ileostomy for about three months now and some bumps are showing up on the stoma surface.  They look like the bumps related to a yeast infection.  We have been having problems with skin rash lately and bags falling off, but I am more concerned about the bumps [...]

I ahve also have red pimples around the out dise of my stoma. It really puzzles me why thay are starting alof a sudden. Is thia a chang in body hormones dancing around? Bonnie

I’m new to living with my stoma(aka Bob), I hadmy surgery 6 weeks and i’ve had wonderful care from my surgeon, colorectal sister and stomacare sisters but… when i’m alone and feeling vulnerable….your ng has been a lifeline!  Thank you xxxhugxxx
