Question:
Hi all, I’m home from having my gall bladder removed laproscopically!! It was tough but he was able to do it with larger incisions (4 stab wounds). He said the scar tissue was really thick…I spent one night in the hospital on morphine! Had a slight pain management problem but I’m up and about, just sore. Glad my ostomy is on the other side…surgeon said beforehand that he was going to stay the heck away from that thing!! Susan
Response:
Susan, I’m glad that’s over for you. I have one of the old gall bladder scars — about 6" long. What scar tissue – from the ostomy? Hope you can stay out of pain now – you’ve had enough. ~~~~Pat – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->"bch m8" wrote > Hi all, > I’m home from having my gall bladder removed laproscopically!! Hi Susan, Glad to hear you are doing well. I had the same surgery before my ostomy and I was sore too, it takes about six weeks to fully recover. But you will feel better. The pain after was worse then before the surgery. The pain meds really helped. I had help at home the first two days at home. Be well. Rosie "bch m8" <dc…@webtv.net> wrote in message

Glad to see you’re "up and about". Slowly and sorely, I bet, but it’s good you are up and kicking, albiet probably kinda slowly!! Best— Ron Failure is not found in falling down – failure is found in not getting up. Glad you’re up!! "bch m8" <dc…@webtv.net> wrote in message
